Good Luck to all SPM 2012 Students!

SPM 2012 has started!!

I would like to wish 'Good Luck & All The Best! ' to all SPM 2012 students especially those who will be sitting for Modern Maths, Add Maths and Physics papers. Please read the questions carefully, underline all the key information and question, and try to answer each question within the time recommended. You will be sitting SPM only once in your lifetime, so do your very best! I pray that you will be able to answer the questions calmly and correctly. To all Muslim students, don't forget to recite do'a and Salawat to our Prophet Muhammad S.A.W before you begin answering. All the best! =D

                    For those who doesn't know what IB is, it's a pre-university program, the equivalent of A-Levels or STPM. IB stands for International Baccalaureate and you can read about it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Baccalaureate. Student who will be taking IB in Year 11 and 12 will prepare for it by completing a pre-IB preparation program in Year 10. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to tutor Kelly Teoh from International School of KL (ISKL) for Maths subject. Although it was only for 2 months, we had so much fun and I look forward to seeing her when she starts her IB program in Year 11  =)

Preparing For Add Maths

Assalamualaikum and good day,

How has the new year been so far for all of you? Have you started working hard on your studies, or are you still in the 'holiday mode'? ( Since Chinese New Year holiday is coming soon). I hope that all of you have started revising, especially the Form 5 students who will be taking SPM this year. It's very important for you to start early, as studying last minute will more often than not causes problems instead of solving it. So for those Form 4 students who are taking Additional Maths, attached below is a file containing some basic practices for you to brush up your Maths skills before tackling the tough Add Maths questions. As for the Form 5 students, if you have been getting not so very good marks in Add Maths last year, this is a chance for you to examine your basic Maths knowledge, as the problem might have something to do with it.
